Residing in Chicago, Lou Barrett is a publisher and writer focused on shifting conversations and starting new ones within queer culture. Their publishing company, Purple Palm Press, makes space for queer authors to pass on valuable insights and experiences to their community empowering them to grow emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. When they’re not working, they love walking into friend's kitchens and launching into a monologue about whatever book they're reading.
